GES Opens Online Portal for Posting of Teachers Returning from Study Leave with Pay

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially announced the opening of its online portal for the posting of staff returning from Study Leave with Pay for the year 2025. This directive was contained in a circular issued from the GES Headquarters in Accra, dated 4th November 2025, and signed by Angela Frimpomaa Nkansah (Ms.), Director of Human Resource Management and Development (HRMD), on behalf of the Acting Director-General.

According to the statement, all eligible teachers who have successfully completed their courses under the Study Leave with Pay scheme are required to fill out the online posting form to be appropriately reposted to schools across the country.

The circular emphasized that the 2025 posting form has been uploaded online and can be accessed via the link: https://bit.ly/STUDYLEAVERETURN2025. Teachers are expected to provide accurate and complete information as required on the platform to facilitate smooth processing of their postings.

The window for filling out the forms officially opened on Tuesday, 4th November 2025, and will close on Friday, 7th November 2025. The GES has urged all affected staff to comply within the stipulated time frame to avoid any delay or complications in their posting process.

The circular was also copied to key officers, including the Chairman of the GES Council, the Acting Deputy Director-General for Management Services (MS), and the Acting Deputy Director-General for Quality and Access (Q&A).

This annual process ensures that teachers who benefited from the Study Leave with Pay policy are reintegrated into the classroom system to continue contributing to quality education delivery in Ghana.

The GES further reiterated its commitment to ensuring transparency and efficiency in all its staff posting and deployment exercises.

Teachers are therefore advised to act promptly and ensure that all entries on the online form are correctly filled before submission.
