The Ghana Education Service (GES), through the Catholic Education Unit, has officially declared a vacancy for the position of Substantive Headmaster/Headmistress at St. Kizito Senior High Technical School in Mepe, located in the Volta Region.
The declaration, dated 19 January 2025, invites applications from qualified serving officers within the Ghana Education Service who meet the stipulated requirements and are committed to the values of Catholic education.
Qualification and Experience Requirements
According to the notice, applicants must:
- Be professional teachers in good standing with the Ghana Education Service
- Hold the rank of Deputy Director
- Possess a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Education, Educational Administration, Leadership, or a related field
- Be computer literate
- Have at least three (3) clear years to retirement
- Demonstrate strong leadership qualities, integrity, and commitment to Catholic education
- Have a good record of service and conduct
Mode of Application
Interested applicants are required to submit the following documents:

- A formal application letter
- Four (4) copies of application forms, obtainable from the Catholic Education Unit Office in Ho
- A curriculum vitae (CV)
- Four (4) completed personal record forms, filled in ink and properly endorsed
- Copies of professional and academic certificates
Applicants must also attach sealed Confidential Reports and completed Appraisal Forms to their applications.
The notice further states that applicants currently serving in institutions other than St. Kizito Senior High Technical School must route their applications through their respective Heads of Institution.

All application documents, submitted in quadruplicate, should be forwarded to the: Regional Manager, Catholic Education Unit, P.O. Box HP 168, Ho, Volta Region.
The announcement has been circulated to all higher institutions in the Volta Region, all Municipal and District Directorates, the National Catholic Secretariat in Accra, and all Catholic schools across Ghana.
