GES Announces Progress on 2024 Degree Recruitment Process
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has provided an update regarding the 2024 Degree Recruitment exercise, assuring applicants that the recruitment portal is now fully functional following earlier technical challenges.
According to a press release dated December 1, 2024, the GES initially opened the recruitment portal on September 3, 2024, inviting applications from qualified individuals for teaching positions. The exercise attracted significant interest, with a total of 38,748 applications submitted. However, only 11,665 applicants met the minimum requirements specified in the advertisement.
The GES has assured the public that recruitment will be conducted in batches, focusing on placing the qualified applicants in critical teaching positions.
