EC Announces Payment of Allowances to Temporary Staff by June 20
The Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has announced that allowances for its temporary staff will be disbursed by Friday, 20th June 2025. This follows the release of funds from the Ministry of Finance on Thursday, 12th June 2025.
In an official letter signed by the Chairperson of the Commission, Mrs. Jean Mensa, the EC extended warm greetings and appreciation to all temporary staff for their patience and cooperation.
“The Commission is working round the clock to ensure that payments are made promptly,” the statement assured. The news comes as a relief to the many individuals who served as temporary staff during recent electoral exercises and have been anticipating payment.

The Commission further expressed gratitude for the dedication and commitment of its temporary workforce, who play a vital role in the success of electoral operations across the country.
With this development, temporary staff are advised to expect payment into their respective accounts by or before the stipulated date.
