YEA Unveils New School Support Initiative

The School Support Programme (SSP), developed by the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), is now accepting applications as of today, July 30, 2024.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) and the SSP are working together to improve Ghana’s educational system and provide much-needed assistance to schools all around the country.

Providing excellent chances for skill development and professional advancement, the initiative hopes to hire 10,000 committed individuals.

Young Ghanaians aged 18 to 35 are invited to apply for various roles, including Community Education Teaching Assistants (CETA) and School Guards & Kitchen Assistants.

CETAs, who should hold at least a Diploma, will assist teachers and improve student learning experiences. Those with a Senior High School (SHS) education can apply for roles as School Guards or Kitchen Assistants, contributing to a safer and more supportive school environment.

Applications are open until August 5, 2024. Interested candidates can apply at https://apply.yea.gov.gh.
