The Youth Employment Agency (YEA), in collaboration with On Point Virtual Assistants, has opened applications for an intensive eight-week training programme designed to prepare Ghanaian youth for remote work opportunities abroad.
Dubbed the Virtual Assistants Training, the initiative forms part of YEA’s broader Work Abroad Programme, aimed at equipping young people with globally competitive digital skills that align with the evolving demands of the international job market.
The training is targeted at individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 who possess at least a Senior High School (SHS) certificate. According to YEA, the programme is ideal for those looking to dive into the booming remote work environment, particularly in the growing field of virtual assistance.
The application deadline has been set for 30th June, 2025, and interested individuals are encouraged to register via the official portal at apply.yea.gov.gh.
Successful trainees will gain the opportunity to access remote job placements with international clients, positioning them to earn sustainable incomes while working from Ghana or anywhere with a stable internet connection.

The YEA has assured that the training will be practical, skills-focused, and aligned with the requirements of reputable virtual assistant employers across the globe.
