UEW student reportedly kills herself [Photos]

A University of Education Winneba (UEW) level 400 student who was discovered hanging from the ceiling of her dorm is thought to have committed suicide.

The deceased, identified as Rita by sources, was enrolled in an ICT programme and was on campus for her required industrial attachment at the time of death.

According to the data we gathered, this sad incident took place at her flat in Winneba, which is closer to Sir Charles Beach.

Rita started her required attachment at the school yesterday, October 2, but was later discovered hanging from her ceiling this morning.

The primary cause of her act is not now known because the police have only recently started their investigation.

The mortuary has received her body so that an autopsy can be performed.
