Two Arrested for Attempted Rituals at Berekum SHS

In a startling incident at Berekum SHS in the Bono Region, two individuals have been arrested for allegedly attempting to perform rituals within the school compound.

According to reports, the suspects were apprehended after being spotted engaging in suspicious activities on the school premises. Upon interrogation, one of the suspects confessed that he was conducting the ritual on behalf of the other, who has been experiencing frequent wet dreams and sought spiritual assistance to put an end to the problem.

Items found in their possession included a live fowl, a padlock, sprays, and other ritual materials believed to have been intended for the spiritual exercise. The presence of these items and the nature of their activities quickly drew the attention of school authorities and nearby residents, leading to their arrest.

The two suspects are currently in police custody, assisting with investigations. The incident has caused considerable alarm among students and staff, with many expressing concern over the growing trend of ritual-related activities among the youth.

Authorities have since urged the public, especially students, to seek appropriate medical or psychological help for personal challenges rather than resorting to unorthodox or harmful spiritual practices.

The Berekum Senior High School administration has also reassured parents and the public that measures are being put in place to ensure the continued safety and well-being of all students on campus.
