Second Tranche of 25% Increment Base Pay of Public Sector Workers to Start July Ending

Following the conclusion of public sector compensation negotiations last year, the government of Ghana plans to adjust public sector workers’ salary increment to 25% from January 2024 to December 2024.

The extra 2% increase was disclosed in a signed agreement between Organized Labor, which was made up of worker unions, associations, and institutions within the Ghanaian public service and is referred to as “Labour,” and the government of Ghana, represented by the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission (FWSC), Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations (MELR), and Ministry of Finance (MoF) as “The Employer.”
