NPRA Introduces USSD Service to Help Workers Instantly Identify Their Pension Trustees

The National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA) has rolled out a new USSD service that allows workers to instantly check and confirm their pension trustees. By simply dialing *883#, contributors can easily access vital information about their pension scheme.
This initiative is part of NPRA’s commitment to ensuring transparency, accountability, and retirement income security for workers across Ghana.
According to the Authority, the service provides three main benefits:
- It enables contributors to know the pension scheme they belong to.
- It allows workers to confirm if their contributions are managed by the right trustee.
- It gives contributors direct access to the contact details of their trustees.

With many workers often uncertain about which trustee manages their pension funds, this digital solution is expected to provide clarity and improve confidence in Ghana’s three-tier pension system.
The NPRA emphasized that the USSD service is available to all workers, regardless of their mobile network, and can be accessed without internet connectivity.
For further information, contributors can contact NPRA via 0302-968692/3 or follow them on their official social media handles @NPRAGHANA.
This innovation marks another step towards safeguarding the retirement future of workers in Ghana by ensuring that they can track and verify their pension contributions with ease.
