Ministry of Education Donates Toyota Land Cruisers to 20 Colleges of Education

The Ministry of Education, with support from the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund), has donated brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser vehicles to 20 Colleges of Education across the country through the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).

The donation forms part of government’s broader efforts to strengthen teacher education and improve the operational capacity of Colleges of Education. The vehicles are expected to support administrative duties, academic supervision, outreach programmes, and other official activities that require reliable transportation.

According to the Ministry, the provision of the vehicles will significantly enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the day-to-day operations of the beneficiary institutions, especially in areas such as supervision of teaching practice, stakeholder engagement, and monitoring of academic activities.
