Bayern Munich’s chief, Max Eberl, has admitted that renewing Jamal Musiala’s contract is proving challenging. With Liverpool and Manchester City keeping an eye on the situation, negotiations between Bayern and Musiala have stalled over the past week.

Eberl acknowledged, “It’s difficult, but not impossible. Jamal is aware of what he has at Bayern—he grew up here, earned his first recognition here, and has developed to this level with us.”

He added, “The discussions are becoming more intense. Our club is highly ambitious, and Jamal is aware of that. He wants to win titles.”

Musiala’s current contract with Bayern is set to expire in 2026.
