KNUST medical student rescued following attempted suicide [video]
A Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) student by the name of Kwadwo Asare Konadu Gyamfi attempted suicide last night by jumping from a storey building at Brunei Complex, but he was saved.
A female level 300 student committed suicide in her dorm room just six days ago after reviewing her end-of-semester grades. She resided at Bomso’s Ultimate Hostel while majoring in real estate.
The guy had previously written a suicide letter in which he described his struggle with despair and how the only way he could have survived it was by taking his own life.
In his suicide note, he included a few names of well-known people he tried to reach out to for assistance but to no avail. He absolutely claimed that one Leciaa, after he confided his worries to her, blew his cover and shared everything on her Snapchat story, but he wasn’t worried because he already had his preparations in place. He provided justifications for the suicide.

Reasons for the suicide
He claimed to have had sleep paralysis for almost two years and didn’t believe there was a good enough reason for him to continue living. Additionally, he says that he has seen demons and that at one point, he even heard one speak.
He claimed that despite his repeated prayers to God asking for a sign from the well-known figures he sought assistance from, nothing materialized that would allow him to continue living.
His suggestion
In order to prevent youth suicide, he asked KNUST and young people to seriously consider mental health issues.
