Ghastly accident on Kintampo-Tamale road claims 22 lives [VIDEO]
In an accident between Kintampo and Babatokuma in the Bono East region, over 22 persons are said to have died.
The horrific accident happened on Sunday night at 11:00pm.
Witnesses described how a tile-transporting truck and a Grandbird bus headed from Yendi to Kumasi, with registration number AS 4635 – 22 and roughly 52 passengers on board, respectively, collided.

In an effort to avoid colliding with another vehicle that was parked on the road, the truck reportedly swerved off its lane and into the lane of the bus.
Tragically, 21 people perished at the scene when the bus collided with the vehicle, and the other person passed away in the hospital.
The Kinatmpo hospital, where several injured people are also receiving treatment, has received the bodies of the deceased, which also include a toddler and 17 male and four female victims.
