Female teacher narrowly escapes death as snake, scorpion invade her room
A snake and a scorpion intruded into a female teacher’s terrible teachers’ bungalow at Breman Otabilkwaa D/A Basic School in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District of the Central Region, almost resulting in her premature death.
Five snakes and scorpions have reportedly entered the young teacher’s classroom in the past week, according to information acquired by GhOne News Yaw Boagyan.
Due to the poor condition of the teachers’ quarters, which are located near a bush, dangerous animals including snakes, scorpions, and other reptiles frequently enter the teachers’ rooms.
If nothing is done to fix their teaching quarters, the teachers have threatened to cease going to the class.

Some of the residents who were interviewed claimed that the poor condition of the teachers’ quarters has made it difficult for many newly appointed teachers to the school to remain at their posts, which has an impact on academic work.
Many of the teachers allegedly submitted transfer requests. A neighbor stated, “Just recently, a snake nearly bit a female teacher while it was in her room at night.”
They also discussed the poor condition of their kindergarten building, which has now turned into a death trap and is causing panic among parents, many of whom have stopped sending their children to school out of concern that the structure will collapse on them.
They are pleading with the government to assist them by providing adequate teacher housing and a kindergarten classroom building with better restroom amenities to enhance teaching and learning.
