FDA introduces ‘ProPerSeals’ platform for electronic regulatory compliance 

Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) through a flyer invites market authorization holders, importers, exporters, and manufacturers of its regulated products to register on the ProPerSeals platform using the link https://bit.ly/ProPerRegister. The deadline for registration is December 31, 2022.

The platform is a technology solution developed to support the supply chain objectives of the Africa Continental Free Trade Area Hub initiative which was launched by the Government of Ghana on August 29, 2022. The purpose is the platform is to enhance product security and supply chain integrity using product coding to mitigate product counterfeiting and falsification, regulatory processes currently fragmented across customs, port clearance, preventive conformance, trade monitoring and assurance, whilst offering industry a single dashboard for compliance, and lastly, intelligence gathering, research, and data analysis.
