ECG to Embark on Nationwide Revenue Mobilization Exercise from June 16

The Electricity Company of Ghana Limited (ECG) has announced a Nationwide Revenue Mobilization Exercise aimed at recovering outstanding arrears from customers across the country.

This initiative, scheduled to run from Monday, 16th June to Friday, 27th June 2025, will target all customer categories with unpaid bills, including residential, commercial, industrial, as well as ministries, departments, and agencies.

In a public notice dated Wednesday, 11th June 2025, ECG informed the general public and its valued customers of its commitment to ensuring operational efficiency and service sustainability through this exercise.

According to the company, special teams will be deployed nationwide to monitor, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who interfere with the exercise or engage in illegal self-reconnection after disconnection.

The ECG strongly advised customers with outstanding bills to settle their arrears immediately to avoid disconnection and additional costs such as reconnection fees.

To facilitate payment, ECG has urged customers to use digital platforms, particularly the ECG Mobile App, which is available on the Google Play Store. Additionally, customers can seek help through the ECG Contact Centre by dialing 0302 611 611 or via ECG’s official social media handles.

The company emphasized that the success of this mobilization drive will enable it to continue providing reliable electricity services and improve customer satisfaction. “Help ECG to serve you better,” the notice concluded.
