CUTT to Protest at GES Headquarters

The Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Ministry of Education in Accra will be the targets of a picket by the Coalition of Unemployed Trained Teachers (CUTT). The goal of this protest is to demand that qualified, trained teachers who have been left unemployed for months be immediately posted.

Despite their persistent efforts, it appears that these qualified educators are not being heard in the system of education. Despite earlier promises from the GES Director-General that these teachers would hear from him by April, sadly, nothing has changed.

Several letters have been sent to GES and the Ministry of Education, but unfortunately none of them have received a reply. CUTT has decided to demonstrate on May 14, 2024, outside the Ministry of Education and GES buildings, since they are fed up with the lack of advancement and broken promises.
