Blöôdy Scenes Unfold at Wassa Dompoase as Armed Robbers Attack Gold Buyer’s Shop

In a shocking turn of events at Wassa Dompoase in the Amenfi East Municipality of the Western Region, about seven armed robbers stormed a gold buyer’s shop, escaping with two sacks of money and gold. The harrowing incident took place at around 1 p.m. yesterday, leaving the community in a state of fear and disbelief.

The Attack

According to reports gathered by EDHUB, the armed men, equipped with guns and knives, targeted the Humble Gold Buying Enterprise, where three shopkeepers were present at the time. The robbers forcefully entered the shop and immediately demanded the keys to the safe where money and gold were stored.

Violence Unfolds

One shopkeeper, suspected by the assailants to have the keys, denied having them. In response, the robbers shòt him twice, leaving him in critical condition. He is currently receiving treatment at the hospital. The other two shopkeepers also suffered injuries from gunshots and kn!fe stàbs as they tried to defend themselves. Fortunately, their conditions have been stabilized.

Despite the struggle, the robbers managed to retrieve the keys to the safe. They then looted the gold and money, filling two sacks before making a swift escape. The entire ordeal has left the shop’s employees and the community traumatized.
