AICC prevents Tiger Eye from using the venue for public showing of the galamsey economy exposé
In a statement released on Sunday, November 13, 2022 by the management of the Tiger Eye, the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) has prevented them from using the venue for public showing of the galamsey exposé. Tiger Eye P.I. hereby informs the public that it has been stopped from screening its latest undercover investigative piece titled ‘Galamsey Economy’ at the Accra International Conference center which is scheduled this Monday and Tuesday, that is 14 and 15 respectively of November 2022.
Management of AICC informed Tiger Eye through their agent on Saturday, November 12, 2022 that the venue is no longer available for use on the said dates. Tiger Eye has already fulfilled every requirement of AICC to use the place including payment for the venue despite last minute change in cost by about thirty percent (30%).
Tiger Eye is saddened that barely 48 hours ago to the public screening, when invitations have been sent to the diplomatic community and other high-profile individuals in the society, and flyers sent out to the public, they had to look for a new venue.
Tiger Eye apologizes to the public for the inconvenience in the change of venue. Their agent is securing another auditorium and they will update the public soon on the new venue. All tickets are already out valid for the new venue.
