Paramount chief of the Gonjaland, Yagbonwura Bi-Kunuto Soale Jewu, has issued a decree banning Lands Minister, Samuel Abdulai Jinapor from entering all palaces within the Gonja kingdom.
This decision was announced following what the Yagbonwura described as a breach of tradition and respect.

This comes after the traditional leaders in West Gonja accused the minister of interfering in traditional matters in the area.
According to them, the continuous interference of the MP in matters that should be handled within traditional frameworks tends to cause widespread discontent and disaffection among the people.
