UCC Opens 2025 Scholarship Applications for Needy but Brilliant Regular Students

The Students’ Financial Support Office of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has officially announced the opening of the 2025 UCC Scholarship for needy but brilliant regular students. Applications will be accepted from 9th June to 7th July 2025, providing a vital opportunity for students facing financial constraints to access the support they need to continue their academic journey.
Who is Eligible?
To qualify for the scholarship, an applicant must:
- Be a Ghanaian by birth.
- Be a regular student enrolled in any of UCC’s undergraduate or postgraduate programmes.
- Demonstrate financial need with genuine evidence of inability to pay tuition or meet basic academic expenses.
- Possess a strong academic record or potential.
- Not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship or bursary scheme.
- Demonstrate a willingness to participate in mentorship, community service, or leadership programmes if awarded the scholarship.
How to Apply – Activating the MYUCC Account
Interested applicants must activate their MYUCC accounts before applying. The process includes:

Step 1:
Log into the UCC student portal via: https://portal.ucc.edu.gh
Step 2:
Navigate to the “Student Resources” section and select MYUCC.
Step 3:
Follow the prompts to activate your account using your student ID and password.
Step 4:
Once activated, log in and proceed to the “Financial Support” section to access the scholarship application form.
Step 5:
Fill out the form accurately and upload all relevant documents, including evidence of need and academic records.
Step 6:
Submit your completed application through the MYUCC portal before the deadline.
