Steps for checking your Tier 2 Pension Statement

Ghana Education Service (GES) employees now have the option to check their Tier 2 pension lump amount online, thanks to the Ghana Education Service Occupational Pension Scheme (GESOPS). If you work for GES, you can use a short code or a browser to check your Tier 2 lump amount immediately from your phone.

Method 1: How to use Short Code to check your Tier 2 Lump Sum

1. To begin, on your mobile phone, dial *365*65#. Use a mobile number that is listed in the GESOPS database, please.

2. After that, type your Staff ID and hit Send.

3. You will need to register for the service if this is your first time using it.

4. Enter 1 in the text box to create an account for the GESOPS online service

5. After that, you must register by entering your Staff ID. To create an account, enter your Staff ID and follow the instructions. You won’t be able to complete the registration if you use a number that is not listed in the GESOPS database. Your number cannot be updated unless you call GESOPS at 0501516974.

6. When the registration process is finished, call the short code again, input your Staff ID, and then follow the on-screen instructions to check your Tier 2 pension lump payment.

    Method 2: Online Tier 2 Pension Lump Sum Checking Procedures

    Additionally, you can use a web browser to verify your statement online.

    1.Visit the GES Pensions Login page by clicking on the link.

    2. Once more, in order to continue, you must first register an account if you are a new user. Click “Submit” after entering your Staff ID and SSNIT number.

    3. The following screen will show your information. Verify your information, then click Next.

    4. You must enter your email address and set a password for your account on the following screen. To accept the terms, check the box, then click Register.

    5. Following a successful registration, you will be returned to the login page. So to log in, provide your Staff ID and SSNIT number.

    6. After logging in, your dashboard will show up. Click check statement to view your statement. A start date and an end date must be determined for the statement. Enter your password to access the statement after choosing the statement’s due date.
