The exercise, led by traditional authorities and state agencies, combined spiritual measures such as prayers with scientific methods, including controlled spraying. Personnel from the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) and the Ghana National Fire Service were actively involved.

The tragic incident occurred on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, when a swarm of bees invaded the Anloga EP Basic School during instructional hours, causing panic among pupils and staff. Several individuals sustained injuries and were rushed to nearby health facilities for treatment and later discharged. Sadly, the two kindergarten pupils succumbed to the attack, plunging the Anloga community into deep mourning.
