According to reports, a taxi driver was killed and three people were hurt in a horrifying accident at Agona Mensahkrom on the Agona Swedru-Agona Nyarkrom Route.
Ishmael Kwao, the driver, was reportedly murdered instantly, according to accounts by Kofi Adjei of Adom News.
The incident happened when a cab and a container truck with the licence plate GW 1342-17 collided.
According to reports, Mr. Kwao’s improper overtaking caused the deadly collision.

Victim gives account of the accident
A man in the taxi claimed that several witnesses who arrived to save them stole GHS1,200 from them while he was on the verge of tears.
He claimed that he had booked the cab to transport his freshman kid to junior high school only to become embroiled in this terrible incident.
As his wife was receiving treatment at the Swedru Government Hospital and was in a severe condition, he fractured his arm.
He appealed with whoever took the money to return it, but he added that he doesn’t know where his son is.
