GES to embark on data collection exercise for all teachers nationwide

In a letter with reference number-GES/HQ/HRMD/SEC/24/01, dated January 5, 2023, signed by Ms. Angela Frimpomaa Nkansah; Director, HRMD, management of the Ghana Education Service is urging all teachers nationwide to update their records of their human resource base.

With this there will be increased efficiency and effectiveness in managing their human resource, which will help in making informed-decisions, save cost and improve accountability.

“The Ghana Education Service in its quest to improve Service delivery and learning outcomes, wishes all Management levels to update their records of their human resource base.

This will lead to increased efficiency and effectiveness in managing their human resource, help in making informed-decisions, save cost and improve accountability.

It is against this backdrop that you are being informed to use the attached template to collate data on all staff (both teaching and non-teaching) at the various levels and submit same to the HRMD Secretariat via angela.frimponmaa@ges.gov.gh by 23rd January, 2024. Please note: No data would be accepted from individual schools or Districts. The data should be collated and submitted by the Region.” It said in the letter.
