GES Opens Applications for Culture Coordinator Positions in Volta Region

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially announced the opening of applications for the position of Culture Coordinator at the Municipal and District Education Offices across the Volta Region.
In a notice issued by the Regional Directorate, GES is inviting qualified, results-oriented, and dedicated professional teachers who meet the stated requirements to apply for the role, which is aimed at strengthening cultural education and activities within schools in the region.

- Culture Coordinator (Municipal/District Education Offices)
Qualification Requirements
Applicants must satisfy the following criteria:
- Be a professional graduate teacher
- Be computer literate
- Have a satisfactory conduct record and a credible work history
- Possess leadership experience
- Be on the Assistant Director II grade or higher
- Have completed courses in Music, Performing Arts, Languages, or any culture-related programme from a recognised university (this will be an added advantage)
Mode of Application
Interested applicants who meet the requirements are to submit four (4) copies each of the following documents to the Regional Directorate of Education:

- Completed application form (obtainable from the office)
- First appointment letter
- Academic and professional certificates
- Last promotion letter
- Filled personal record form
- Confidential report from the applicant’s immediate supervisor
Submission Deadline
All applications must reach the Regional Directorate of Education, Ho, on or before 30 January 2026.
