GES Begins Onboarding of Public School Heads Onto New Digital Platform

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has commenced a nationwide exercise to onboard all public basic and senior high school heads onto its official digital management platform. The initiative, announced through various regional IT directorates, forms part of GES’s ongoing efforts to streamline communication, improve data accuracy, and enhance administrative efficiency across schools.

According to a notice shared with school leaders, regional IT officers have begun coordinating the submission of personal and professional details of all public school heads. This information will be integrated into the GES website to ensure a centralized and reliable database for educational management.

As part of the process, school heads are required to submit their details through the official online form. The GES has provided a secure link for this purpose.

Officials say the digital onboarding process will help GES improve service delivery, strengthen accountability, and ensure that heads of institutions can easily access official updates, instructional resources, training opportunities, and administrative tools once fully integrated.

The initiative also aligns with the broader digital transformation agenda within the education sector, aimed at modernizing management systems and promoting transparency across all levels of school administration.

Regional education authorities encourage all public school heads who have not yet completed the online form to do so promptly using the link provided to ensure smooth integration into the system.
