GES Appoints Ms. Rose Dapaa as Chief Personnel Officer
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the appointment of Ms. Rose Dapaa as the new Chief Personnel Officer at the GES Headquarters.
With a background in administrative excellence and nearly three decades of experience in the educational sector, Ms. Dapaa steps into her new role with a wealth of expertise and a commitment to enhancing personnel management within GES.
Ms. Dapaa previously served as the Regional Administrative Officer at the Ashanti Regional Education Directorate in Kumasi, where she demonstrated her strong capabilities in office administration. Her appointment reflects GES’s confidence in her ability to lead and innovate in managing personnel-related functions at a national level.
Ms. Dapaa’s academic credentials underscore her qualifications for this role. She holds a Master of Philosophy in Human Resource Management, a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management and Consulting, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management.

Additionally, she earned a Higher National Diploma in Secretarial and Management Studies. These qualifications have equipped her with a solid foundation in human resource management and strategic planning, essential for her responsibilities as Chief Personnel Officer.
Throughout her career, Ms. Dapaa has demonstrated exemplary dedication and hard work. Her contributions were recognized in 2012 when she was awarded the National Best Worker (Non-Teaching Category) in GES. This honor highlighted her exceptional commitment to supporting Ghana’s educational system behind the scenes.
