GES announces new module for recruitment of teachers from public colleges of education
In order to recruit the first class of degree holders (2022) from the Public Colleges of Education, the Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the launch of a recently implemented self-posting module.
GES revealed to a Ghanaweb reporter during a press briefing on Thursday, July 4, at the institution’s headquarters, that one advantage of the self-posting recruitment module is that it enables freshly trained teachers to be posted to areas where language barriers won’t be an issue.
The module will also allow teachers to choose schools that are closer to their jurisdiction and receive related financial support.
It is recommended that eligible candidates go to the site at https://www.gespromotions.gov.gh and follow the instructions to obtain their appointment letters.

As to the announcement, the selected applicants need to present their Ghana Card and other required documents to their respective regional education directorates for verification and additional instructions.
