Former Student Accuses Mawuko Girls’ SHS Head Teacher of Sexual Assault
A disturbing allegation has surfaced on social media, implicating the head teacher of Mawuko Girls’ Senior High School, identified as Mr. Ebenezer Kakrani, in a case of sexual assault.
According to a post making rounds online on X, a young lady has accused Mr. Kakrani of allegedly assaulting her sexually during her time as a student at the school. The post, which has attracted public attention, directly calls on the head teacher to respond to the claims before legal action is taken against him.
The message read: “Mr. Kakrani, ‘head teacher’ of Mawuko Girls SHS, this young lady is accusing you of sexual assault when she was in school. Speak now before the law grabs you o.”
As of now, there has been no official statement from either Mr. Kakrani or the school’s administration regarding the allegations. Authorities have also not confirmed whether an investigation has been launched into the matter.

Sexual misconduct cases in educational institutions have been a growing concern in Ghana, with stakeholders consistently urging victims to speak out and for schools to uphold strict accountability measures to protect students.
The public is now awaiting clarification or an official response from the accused head teacher and the Ghana Education Service (GES), under whose jurisdiction the school operates.
If confirmed, this case would add to a troubling list of sexual misconduct reports in Ghanaian schools — an issue that continues to call for stronger enforcement of ethics and protection mechanisms within the educational system.
