Everton Submit Bid for Chelsea Midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Premier League side Everton have officially submitted a bid to sign Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in a move aimed at strengthening their midfield options ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The 26-year-old English midfielder joined Chelsea last year from Leicester City, following former manager Enzo Maresca to Stamford Bridge. However, his time at the London club has been largely underwhelming. Despite making 36 appearances across all competitions, Dewsbury-Hall has struggled to establish himself in Chelsea’s star-studded midfield and is now considered surplus to requirements.
Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed Everton’s interest in the player, reporting:
“EXCLUSIVE: Everton submit official bid for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to join on permanent deal from Chelsea. Club to club talks underway, Chelsea open to this option with discussions ongoing on terms with #EFC.”

With Chelsea actively pursuing RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons to add further depth and creativity to their midfield, Dewsbury-Hall’s prospects of game time at Stamford Bridge appear increasingly slim.
The midfielder’s potential move to Goodison Park presents an opportunity for a fresh start, with Everton manager David Moyes believed to be a strong admirer of his tenacity and work rate. Moyes sees the former Leicester man as a player who can inject energy and experience into the Toffees’ midfield as they prepare for a demanding Premier League campaign.
Talks between Everton and Chelsea are ongoing, with both clubs reportedly keen to conclude the deal swiftly before the new season kicks off.
If the transfer goes through, Dewsbury-Hall could become one of Everton’s key summer acquisitions as they look to climb the table and solidify their position in the league.
