Daniel Afriyie Barnieh extends Hearts’ contract- Hearts of Oak reveals

Following the transfer of Daniel Afriyie Barnieh to the Swiss side; FC Zurich, for a fee of US$ 150,000, Accra Hearts of Oak PLC in a statement on January 3, 2023 has announced that the Football Club has extended the contract of the player.

In a statement which reads, “The management of Accra Hearts of Oak PLC is pleased to announce to our teaming followers that Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has extended his contract with the club. Afriyie joined hearts 3 seasons ago and has since developed into a top talent which has seen him play very important and leading roles in Ghana’s various national teams including the under-20 team, the under-23 team, Black Galaxies and the main Black stars team. He was part of Ghana’s squad that played at the 2022 FIFA World Cup held in Qatar. He has also won several titles with Hearts of Oak which includes the Premiership title, FA Cup title and the President’s Cup. The club will provide further updates on Daniel Afriyie Barnieh in due course”.
