AMA Offers Scholarship for Persons Interested in Studying Ga Dangme
The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) has launched the Ga Dangme Scholarship Scheme, targeting Senior High School (SHS) graduates who wish to study Ga Dangme at Colleges of Education or Universities in Ghana.
This program aims to develop a new generation of educators skilled in Ga Dangme, promoting its preservation and instruction in schools across the Accra Metropolis.
According to the AMA, this scholarship offers a valuable opportunity for SHS graduates to advance their education and become certified Ga Dangme language teachers.

The initiative supports the AMA’s goal of preserving cultural heritage and improving educational standards by increasing the number of qualified language teachers in the region.
