ACCRA: Man narrates how he got swindled when he sold his Hyundai Elantra

“Accra stay by plan” is a refrain which is mostly used by the populaces in Accra which sends signal to non-residents doing business in the nation’s capital to stay wary.

You can easily be scammed when doing business in Accra without knowing the person, or not involving a well-known third party. We only hear stories of individual being conned when buying items, but this is a different issue. An unknown man has shared his ordeal in a video explaining how he got scammed selling his Hyundai Elantra to someone.

According to the man, he was supposed to sell the car at a price of Gh₵34,000, but ended up selling it at Gh₵31,000 when he met the buyer and realized the buyer is a woman. Unbeknownst to him, he even gave the agent a commission of Gh₵400 who happens to be the husband of the buyer and was trying his best to fix one of the tail lights which was faulty for them.
