In the Atwima Kwanwoma District’s Trede town, a 17-year-old graduate for the recently ended Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), Daniel Fosuhene, was fatally stabbed while trying to break up a brawl between two lovers.

A furious fight between a couple who lived in the same house startled Master Fosuhene, a senior at Konkori D/A Junior High School, as he was sleeping in his room.

A physical altercation had broken out due to accusations of infidelity. The incident happened on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at approximately 11 p.m.

In an attempt to defuse the situation, Madam Esther Akyaa, the mother of the deceased, told Class FM’s Ashanti Regional Correspondent, Elisha Adarkwah, about her son’s intervention in the couple’s argument.
